Helping Hands

Our Programs & Applications

At Edge Forward, our mission is to empower women and children, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to overcome any obstacle they may face. We offer two distinct programs: AdvantEDGE, a mentoring program designed to support female high school and college students, and The Next Chapter, a program that helps women and children throughout the divorce process. Our team is dedicated to helping women and children from across the continental United States. We believe that every person deserves the chance to pursue their dreams and live a fulfilling life, regardless of their current situation.

Family

The Next Chapter aims to help women and children during and immediately after a divorce by providing financial aid to help participants with new housing, bills, clothing, and food, as well as emotional support to the women as they struggle with the overwhelming task of supporting themselves and their children while learning how to deal with becoming a single-parent household. The Next Chapter will not provide legal advice or pay any legal fees.

Qualifications: Applicants must be located in the United States, and fall within the low-income guidelines based on family size and location and must prove income status through their previous year’s tax returns or the six most recent pay stubs.

To apply: Please download the application, fill it out, and email info@edgeforward.org for a secure link to upload your application and financial records. If you have any questions about our application process, feel free to reach out to us via e-mail.

University Students

The AdvantEDGE Mentorship Program is a transformative initiative designed to empower and guide female high school and college students through valuable mentorship experiences, with a focus on fostering growth, providing support, and inspiring the next generation of female leaders. AdvantEDGE has two distinct three-hour programs: the High School Program and the Higher Ed Program.

High School Program:

The High School Program aims to connect female college students with high school junior and senior girls, providing them with guidance, support, and inspiration as they navigate their academic journey and prepare for future endeavors.

Higher Ed Program:

The Higher Ed Program aims to connect accomplished female leaders with college students, fostering mentorship, sharing insights, and inspiring the next generation of women leaders.
